Department of Health and Department of Environmental Management place no-contact advisory on lake in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management placed a no-contact advisory on a lake in Providence Friday.
Cunliff Lake at Roger Williams Park has blue-green algae that can produce harmful toxins.
Elm Lake also has a no-contact advisory in place.
Health officials suggested to not drink water or eat fish from the lake.
