DOH recommends temporarily closing Barrington Town Beach

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) –
The Department of Health announced in a statement Thursday that they recommend the closure of Barrington Town Beach after water quality tests revealed high levels of bacteria.
The department said they will continue to regularly monitor and review water quality at the state’s beaches to ensure safe conditions throughout the summer.
