Kentucky Help

BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WLNE)- Donations from Rhode Island veterans are being shipped to Kentucky on Monday to support veterans their families impacted by the tornados earlier this month.

The first trucks will pick up the many generators, lanterns, and batteries that were donated by the Ocean State veterans at the American Legion Berard Dejarlias Post 88 in Harrisville at 11 a.m.

A Rhode Island flag that was signed by each donor is being sent along with the donations.

The shipment will be going to the American Legion post in Kentucky.

Anyone who wishes to contribute, can donate to the GoFundMe set up by the American Legion.
