PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Bed Bath & Beyond is closing, but don’t throw away your coupons just yet.

Boscov’s Department Stores said Thursday they’re inviting all Bed Bath & Beyond customers to bring their mailed coupons to any Boscov’s store and exchange it for $10 off any one purchase of $50 or more from until May 31.

“We’re happy to make those BB&B coupons useful and introduce shopper to Boscov’s at the same time,” said Jim Boscov, CEO and chairman of Boscov’s.

Boscov’s has stores across the country, including in Rhode Island and Connecticut.

Bed Bath & Beyond filed for bankruptcy over the weekend in New Jersey, saying it will start an orderly wind down of its operations, including eventually closing its stores, while seeking a buyer for all or some of its businesses.

For now, the company’s 360 Bed Bath & Beyond stores and its 120 Buy Buy Baby sites as well as its websites will remain open to serve customers.
