Dreary day to start, winds roar in like a lion along the coast.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Expect light scattered showers to move across the area today as rain chances have decreased to only 30%.
Low level clouds through the morning hours, but a WSW wind will pick up after lunch time (10-20mph) and become strong along the cape/coastal areas.
Cold front is working it’s way towards us on Friday, and the drier air will keep the rain showers away.
Rain returns in our forecast for Saturday with 80% chances. Rain totals still looking weak as the dry air from the cold front has zapped up all the moisture in the atmosphere.
Sunday is starting to shape up as the temperatures move back towards the 50’s and some sunshine make a return appearance.
