Drifting Boat Prompts Coast Guard Search

The Coast Guard is investigating after finding a Zodiac-style boat adrift and empty near Rose Island in Narragansett Bay this morning.

A 45-foot boat and Jayhawk helicopter were dispatched shortly after fishermen found the boat at about 6am.  The boat has no registration number but there were oars positioned for rowing.
