Driver gets 11 years for Barrington bank robbery

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) _ The getaway driver for a Barrington bank robbery has been sentenced to more than 11 years in federal prison.
U.S. District Judge William Smith on Friday sentenced 33-year-old David Lasseque, of
Lasseque was convicted of conspiracy to commit bank robbery and bank robbery in June.
His co-defendant, 34-year-old Pierre Rheau, of
They got $4,871 in the robbery.
Lasseque’s lawyer says he plans to appeal.
