Drying out after our Sunday soaker
A warm, sunny day was just what the doctor ordered after Sunday’s super-soaker. Rhode Island and Bristol County Mass saw a general 2-4″ of rain, with slightly lower amounts towards the Cape.
Overall drier weather is expected this week, with some minor hiccups along the way.
Tuesday will feature a mix of hazy sun and clouds, with a slight chance of a shower north and west towards the evening. Most storm activity will stay west of our area.
Wednesday is looking great – not only sunny and warm but with lower humidity as well. But it won’t last long, as the muggy air comes back in ahead of our next rain chance into Friday.
As of now the upcoming weekend looks much better than this past one – sun and a spot storm Saturday, and mainly sunny Sunday.
