Dunkin to close roughly 800 locations across the United States
More than half of the closures are in Speedway convenience stores, which was previously announced in February.
PROVIDENCE, RI (WLNE) – Dunkin is closing 8% of its locations in the United States which is roughly 800 restaurants, according to CNN.
CNN reports that Dunkin’ described the closures as “real estate portfolio rationalization” and said the locations that are closing are in “low-volume sales locations” that only represent 2% of its US sales as of 2019.
More than half of the closures are in Speedway convenience stores, which was previously announced in February.
The locations are set to close by the end of 2020.
