Durfee teacher accused of inappropriate contact with student
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A teacher at B.M.C. Durfee High School in Fall River accused of inappropriately touching a student was arraigned on Wednesday morning.
Superintendent Maria Pontes said the teacher faces one count of indecent assault and battery of a person over 14.
Pontes said the teacher was placed on administrative leave when Durfee personnel heard of the allegation.
The district worked with Fall River police and the Department of Children and Families in the investigation.
