East Greenwich Fire Department knocks down 2-alarm fire, dog removed from home

EAST GREENWICH, R.I (WLNE) – East Greenwich Fire Crews knocked down a 2-alarm fire on Thursday morning.

According to the department, the house at the 5300 block of Post Road had a garage fully involved in the flames.

The department’s primary search removed a dog from the home.

All occupants made it outside of the home.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.
