East Providence Police release sketch of suspect in Dodge St shooting

East Providence Police have released a sketch of the suspect in a shooting of a man near a school earlier this month.

Police are still searching for the suspect in the April 8th shooting at a home on Dodge Street just after midnight. The home is near Silver Spring Elementary School.

The victim described the suspect as a black male, between 30 – 40 years of age, approximately 5’10” in height, with a stocky build. They say the suspect may have been in a dark colored SUV, unknown make or model.

Police ask anyone with information to contact the Detective Bureau at 435-7600.
