East Providence to hold second annual Pride parade

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The second annual East Providence Pride parade will be held on Saturday.

The parade will step off at noon at Pearce Field on Mercer Street.

The route will end at City Hall for a flag raising ceremony.

Mayor Bob DaSilva and members of his Council on LGBTQI+ Affairs are set to join the community in the festivities.

The city says more Pride events will be held during Pride month in June.
