Ebola patient being treated in Nebraska dies

A man being treated at the University of Nebraska Medical Center for Ebola has died from the illness,

Dr. Martin Salia, a legal U.S. resident and a native of Sierra Leone, was living in Sierra Leone and working at a hospital when he was diagnosed with the illness last week.

Salia is the third patient to be treated at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Doctors say when he arrived the disease was in the advanced stages and he was listed in critical condition.

He is the tenth patient to be treated in the United States for Ebola. He is the second person in the U.S. to die from Ebola.
