EG Police search for suspects after statue is damaged

East Greenwich Police need help identifying a group of individuals involved in the vandalism of a public statue.

On May 25th, the “Reading Lady” statue in front of the Centreville Bank on Main Street was maliciously damaged and knocked over.

Surveillance video was able to capture a series of photos showing the suspects in the act before walking away, southbound, on the street.

Anyone with information in identifying any of the individuals shown is asked to contact East Greenwich Police at (401) 886-8685.
