Elderly Pawtucket man MedFlighted after rollover accident

LAKEVILLE, M.A. WLNE – A 91-year-old Pawtucket man was MedFlighted to Rhode Island Hospital after flipping his car Thursday afternoon.

Lakeville Fire Department say they were responding to a call just after noon for reports of a car that had rolled over.

When they arrived, they found the elderly man trapped inside his car, suspended in his seat belt. Officials say it took them less than twenty-minutes to remove the man from the vehicle.

The driver was the only person involved in the crash and sustained significant injuries.

A Lakeville Firefighter was also treated at Morton Hospital for a minor injury he sustained assisting in the response.
