Elizabeth Beisel Qualifies for Final of the 200 IM at Trials

Elizabeth Beisel of Saunderstown won her preliminary heat in the 200 IM, and then finished third in the semifinals Wednesday night at the US Olympic Trials in Omaha, NB.
The University of Florida star finished in a time of 2:12:17, ahead of world-record holder Ariana Kukors who finished in a time of 2:12:32.
The final in the 200 IM will be raced Thursday night at 8:55.
Beisel has already qualified for the London Olympics in the 400 IM.
