Elton John makes his last stop in New England

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WLNE) — Elton John will be playing the first of his final two shows in New England Wednesday night.

The music legend stops at Gillette Stadium as part of his last North American tour, the “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour.

Drivers in the area of the stadium will likely see extra traffic during the afternoon commute, as concertgoers head to Gillette.

Elton John has been performing for over 52 years. His last show in the United States will be at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. That show will be his 2000th concert in the states.
