Emergency road repair in Taunton tonight

TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced emergency overnight emergency erosion repair on Route 24 in Taunton tonight.

The repairs will take place on Route 24 northbound at the interchange with Route 140 and exit 17.

MassDOT said the work will require a right lane closure starting at 9 p.m. and that all work should be completed by 5 a.m. Saturday morning.

Drivers should expect delays and use caution.
