ESPN: MLB Plans To Propose Shorter Season, Full Prorated Salaries To Players

After a counterproposal was made by the MLBPA over the weekend, calling for a 114-game season, expanded playoffs and an opt-out option for players, the owners are reportedly coming up with their next offer. According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, the owners will likely propose a shorter season, around 50 games, but would pay players a full prorated salary, which was part of their agreement in late March.
