Activities and Events Rescheduled for Sunday

An exceptionally rainy Saturday brought about several cancellations and postponements: 

• Boys and Girls State Track Championships have been postponed to Sunday, June 3 at 12:30 p.m. at Brown Stadium.

• Several baseball games have been postponed:

•  
  • North Smithfield at Juanita Sanchez postponed to Sunday, Davis Park, at 10 a.m.
  • Lincoln at North Providence postponed to Sunday at 3 p.m.
  • Pilgrim at LaSalle postponed to Sunday, 3 p.m.
  • Chariho at North Kingstown postponed to Sunday, 1 p.m.

• Several lacrosse championship games have been postponed to Sunday at Rhode Island College. The Sunday Schedule will be as follows:

  • Boys Division I (1 p.m.)
  • Boys Division III (3 p.m.)
  • Girls Division I (5:30 p.m.)
  • Girls Division III (7 p.m.)
  • Boys Division II championship game will now take place Monday night at 6:30 p.m. at Rhode Island College.

• Veterans' Motorcycle Run at Dan's Place (a restaurant and bar) has been postponed until Sunday at 9 a.m.

• Special Olympics will not hold Soccer or time trials for cycling as a result of the heavy rains.
