Exeter dispensary first to offer statewide delivery of recreational cannabis

EXETER, R.I. (WLNE) — Plant Based Compassionate Care, announced they are the first to offer statewide delivery of adult-use cannabis.

The company’s business, Sweetspot Dispensary opened back in December has already begun their delivery services.

Blake Costa, Chief Operating Officer for Sweetspot said they’re excited to offer a more convenient shopping experience for providing customer with premium quality products.

“Different customers have different needs, and we want to find ways to solve problems for Rhode Island consumers across the state,” Costa said.

Of-age customers can take advantage of this service by visiting Sweetspot’s website and placing an order for next-day delivery.

For a limited time, the company said they are waiving all delivery fees and offering 20% off first time delivery orders.

Rhode Island lawmakers and the Office of Cannabis Regulation have approved Sweetspot’s service.

The company said they were also the first to offer statewide delivery to all medical patients.
