Exeter highway crash leaves 1 dead, 2 injured

EXETER, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police said one person was killed and two others were injured in a highway crash in Exeter.

The crash happened on Interstate 95 at about 9:30 p.m. Monday.

While the crash is still under investigation, police said that the car rolled over and hit a barrier.

Police didn’t immediately release the names of those involved, but said the person killed was 38 years old and the two injured were 30 and 61 years old.
