Fall River and Foxwoods announce new resort casino plans

Fall River Mayor William Flanagan and Foxwoods Resort and Casino are set to make a big announcement Tuesday.

The City and the Casino are teaming up to open a $750 million resort style casino in Fall River.

More details will be announced at the press conference on Tuesday morning, but the Mayor said casino developers would invest $750 million in the project, which would include a 140,000 sq. ft. gaming floor, nearly 20 restaurants, a 350-room hotel, a shopping mall, an entertainment arena, and a convention center and spa.
