Fall River cop accused of having inappropriate relationship with 17-year-old

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A Fall River police officer was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old.
Police said Officer Michael Morin also received and had inappropriate pictures in “violation of the law.” He was arrested Friday morning.
Det. Sgt. Moses Pereira said Morin has been on paid administrative leave since May 29.
“Police officers, especially those who work for the Fall River Police Department, must be held to a higher standard in both their personal and professional lives,” said Chief Paul Gauvin.
Morin’s status of employment is pending an administrative investigation.
No further information was immediately released.
