Fall River man arrested after breaking into Dartmouth home

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) – Dartmouth police were called to a home on Bakerville Road after a report of a break in, Thursday night.

The homeowner says they were woken by a loud noise, and discovered a man had entered into the home through a window.  While confronting the man, he fled from the house on foot.

When officers arrived, they searched the area where they located the man hiding in the wood line next to the home.

The man was identified as Roman Adnell, 44, of Fall River.  He was arrested and charged with unarmed burglary and vandalism.

After further investigation, authorities determined that before entering the residence through a window, Adnell had attempted to gain entry by hitting the front door with a large rock.
