Fall River man arrested on narcotics, firearm charges

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE)- Fall River detectives arrested Jesus Manuel Sanchez Rosario, 61, on possession, distribution, and firearm charges.

Detectives say they saw Rosario engage in the distribution of illegal drugs and from there executed a search of both his car and his house. Searches from both locations resulted in the recovery of 10 lidocaine patches, 3.6 grams of crack cocaine, 652.5 grams of fentanyl pills, $64,966, and a stun gun.

Fall River police shared the charges against Rosario,

1. Distribution of a class A drug
2. Trafficking in 200 grams or more of heroin/morphine/opium
3. Possession of a class B drug
4. Possession of a call E drug
5. Possession of a firearm without a FID card
6. Possession of a firearm while committing a felony
