Fall River man injured in stabbing

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) – A man who was stabbed over money dispute was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment Monday morning.

Fall River police were dispatched to the 900 Block of North Main Street for a reported stabbing incident just before 10:00 a.m. Monday.

When officers arrived on scene, they observed a 26-year-old male victim on the ground, bleeding from the chest.

The victim told police that he had an argument with a group of people over money.

Police said the victim was stabbed as he attempted to walk away at the conclusion of the argument.

The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
