Fall River man molested young female relative

FALL RIVER, MASS. (WLNE)- A Fall River man who sexually molested a young female relative is sentenced to two and a half years in jail, according to a statement from Bristol County District Attorney’s office
David Silvia III, 49, sexually molested the victim who came forward and testified during trial.
“I commend the victim for her perseverance and courage, especially at such a young age, for testifying against the defendant for his very despicable conduct. I am leased jury held him accountable and that he received the maximum jail sentence,” District Attorney Quinn said.
Silvia was found guilty by a Fall River District Court jury earlier this month, on one count of indecent assault and battery on a person under the age of 14.
