FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) – Concern is growing in Fall River around possible Fentantyl-laced marijuana after several overdoses.

The Fall River Opioid Task Force said that in 2019 so far, five residents of the city had to be revived with Narcan and tested positive for fentanyl after using what they believed was marijuana.

The substances consumed by the residents will undergo lab tests to determine their compositions.

All five residents reported buying from street-level dealers.
