Fall River police arrest man after moped accident

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police said a man was arrested after a moped crash.

Police said they responded to the Davol Street exit for reports of an erratic driver.

When police tried to stop the driver they said he fled the scene.

Authorities said they later found the driver on Hood Street where he hit a parked car with his moped.

Police said they arrested him on the scene.

The identity of the driver was not immediately released.
