Police: Dead body found by Taunton River in Fall River

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Fall River police said a body was found by the Taunton River near Atlantic Boulevard.

ABC 6 News crews were on scene where police said they responded to the area for a report of a dead man on the shore.

Police were seen searching the area and the medical examiner’s office took the body away just before 9 p.m.

No information regarding a cause of death or identity of the deceased was immediately available.
