Fall River Police make an arrest on a trafficking charge

FALL RIVER, MASS (WLNE) – Fall River police arrested a man last week on a trafficking charge.
According to the department, detectives from The Fall River Police Vice and Intelligence were on pre-search warrant surveillance on Warren Street.
The target of the search was identified as 19-year-old Neftaly Arroyo-Gomez.
According to Police, at approximately 8:30 a.m, Detectives knocked at the residence and announced their presence.
Police say that after not getting a response after multiple attempts, they noticed the door was unlocked and entered the residence.
Police announced their presence as they entered and located Arroyo-Gomez and seven other people in the apartment.
Confiscated from Arroyo-Gomez’s bedroom were 26.3 grams of suspected Fentanyl, a digital scale, Inositol powder, sandwich baggies and a large sum of cash.
Arroyo-Gomez was taken into custody on a charge of Trafficking n 18 grams or more of Class A Substance (Fentanyl)
