Fall River Shooting Victim Dies

The victim of the Friday night shooting at 275 County Street in Fall River died Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital.

33-year-old Angel Robles Rivera, of 275 County Street, was pronounced dead this morning around 11:30.  An autopsy has been scheduled for later today.

The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide by the Bristol County District Attorrney's Office, Fall River Police and the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the district attorney's office.

Fall River Police responded to 275 County Street Friday night around 11:20 p.m., after neighbors called and reported hearing a fight inside Mr. Rivera's home.

Witnesses told police they saw two men flea the home and get into a dark gray or silver SUV.  One potential suspect was described as being 24 to 28 years old, with a medium build.  The second man was described as being younger than the first man, weighing about 150 pounds, with dark hair.
