Family looking to thank Good Samaritan who helped grandmother when her car broke down

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – The family of a Warwick woman whose car broke down on Greenwood Avenue last week is looking to thank the Good Samaritan who stopped to help her.

Anna Cicillini’s car stalled on the Greenwood Avenue bridge in Warwick last Friday. She called AAA, but a stranger by the name of Kyle pulled over to keep her company while she waited.

“I know the power of this page and it’s ability to find people,” Kristyn England, Cicillini’s granddaughter, posted to a Warwick town page.

England said her family wants to find Kyle to thank him. She said he offered to drive her grandmother home with her groceries and even brought them all inside for her.

Cicillini asked his address to send him a thank you card, but he said no thank you was necessary.

“Kyle, if you’re on this page, please come forward or message me privately. My family would really love to thank you. You went above and beyond for my Grandmother, who is everything to us,” wrote England.

England went on to say that her faith in humanity has been restored, adding “All of us have so much to learn from people like Kyle. Please reach out to your neighbors and help each other.”
