Fans gear up for Patriots playoff game

FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Patriots Nation is geared up for another postseason run, after a rally outside Gillette Stadium Saturday.

“I love Tom Brady, oh my gosh, I can’t wait,” said Liliana, who flew in from San Diego for the game.

The Pats cheerleaders and street team got fans fired up for Sunday’s AFC divisional game against a formidable opponent, the LA Chargers.

“I think they’re a great team, they have a strong running game. I think we’re going to win, we’re going to persevere,” said Kayla Davis of Warwick.

While the regular season may have been bumpy at times, fans are confident Brady, Gronk and the Patriots will rise to the occasion in the playoffs.

“I’m just excited to watch them win again and go to another super bowl and redeem ourselves from last year,” said Davis.

Fans hope the chilly weather catches LA off guard.

“It’s affecting my toes it’ll definitely affect the chargers, hopefully,” said Michelle Perez.

Perez flew in from San Jose to cheer on New England. She’s confident #15 will heat things up Sunday.

“I’m not worried at all. The Patriots with Chris Hogan, oh my god he’s so hot, I’m not at all concerned,” said Perez.

Kick-off between the Patriots and the Chargers is at noon Sunday at Gillette Stadium.
