FBI offers $10,000 reward for information leading to arrest of Route 91 Bandit

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of a serial bank robber.

The FBI has shared photos of a suspect caught on surveillance believed to have committed 11 bank robberies from September 2021 to January 2022.

These robberies occurred in cities and towns along Route 91 in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.

Police describe the suspect as 5’6″ to 5’8″, white male, medium build, blue eyes, and light-colored hair; typically wearing a hood, or a hat, and white sneakers.

The FBI also shared a photo of a newer model Nissan sedan they believe the man may be operating.

The suspect threatened the use of a firearm in at least six of the robberies, and is considered to be armed and dangerous, according to Investigators.

“In the interest of public safety, we’re asking anyone with information about this individual to contact us immediately. We need to put a stop to this man’s crime spree before someone gets hurt. He’s considered armed and dangerous so please take a close look at these images and reach out to us if you know who he is,” said Joseph R. Bonavolonta, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Boston Division.
