Fire at Wes’ Rib House causes damage, no one injured

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) –

Wes’ Rib House has been shut down this afternoon after the building caught fire around 1:30.

Fire officials say that the well known rib joint suffered moderate damage, but luckily no customers were inside.

The flames were put out within thirty minutes, but the chief stated that the buildings layout made it a challenging fight.

The cause is still under investigation.
