Fire breaks out in Lincoln at a North Providence firefighter’s home

LINCOLN, R.I. — A fire broke out in Lincoln Thursday night at the home of a firefighter from North Providence.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. Thursday night on Fair Oaks Drive.

The fire started in the garage and ended up in the attic. It took crews about 45 minutes to put it out.

Someone was in the house at the time of the fire, but there were no injuries.

The cause is under investigation.
