A two alarm fire broke out at the Palmer River Clam Shack and Dairy in Rehoboth just before 8PM Friday night.

The fire shut down a portion of Route 6 while crews from Rehoboth and Swansea put out the flames.

Fire officials tell us it started in the attic, causing damage to the roof.

Everyone made it out safely.

The restaurant just opened in June.
