Fire destroys garage in Warren
Warren, RI (WLNE) – Firefights responded to a fire at a home on Touisset Road in Warren on Sunday.
The fire was in the garage of the home. Two cars in the garage were destroyed. The garage is attached to the home, so there is also smoke damage in the house. The fire chief said the homeowners probably cannot live there right now because of the smoke damage.
No one was hurt.
Firefighters said it was a tough fire to fight because of narrow roads, issues with local traffic and the fire being so far from the main station. Firefighters had to bring in tankers because there are no hydrants close to the home.
