Fire in Attleboro displaces 2 families

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — Attleboro firefighters fought a fire on Parker Street Sunday afternoon.

Chief David Charest said the fire started in the basement of 90 Parker St.

One person was transported to the hospital with minor burns, Charest said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and two families are currently displaced.

The department received mutual aid from the North Attleboro and Norton Fire Departments.
