Fire under investigation at Marriott hotel in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – A small fire broke out overnight at the Marriott in Providence.

It broke out on Wednesday on Orms street around 11:30 p.m. at night.

Firefighters doused the flames found in a wall on the fourth floor of the hotel.

Patrons staying in the hotel were evacuated to the lobby.

According to the battalion chief on scene the fire was contained to a small area.

No injuries were reported and the fire remains under investigation.
