First-ever SopranosCon created by Rhode Islander

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — “Sopranos” fans, listen up! We’re just over three weeks away from SopranosCon, marking the hit HBO show’s 20th anniversary.

The convention is happening in New Jersey, but it was created by a Rhode Islander, Michael Mota, and benefits a very worthy Rhode Island cause, the Gary Balletto Foundation.

Among the “Sopranos” actors appearing at the November convention is Federico Castelluccio, who played Furio. Castelluccio says 20 years later, fans are more interested in the show than ever.

SopranosCon is happening November 23rd and 24th at the Meadowlands Expo in Secaucus, NJ.
