Providence, Rhode Island –  Five members of Brown's Ivy League Men's Lacrosse Championship team have been named All-Ivy by a vote of the seven Ancient Eight head lacrosse coaches.  Senior Thomas Muldoon (Oakton, VA) earned first team All-Ivy honors for the third consecutive season, while senior midfielder Reade Seligmann (Essex Falls, NJ) and junior midfielder David Hawley (New Canaan, CT) also earned first team honors.  Junior defenseman Peter Fallon (Baltimore, MD) was chosen second team All-Ivy, while junior goalie Matt Chriss (Lutherville, MD) earned honorable mention All-Ivy honors.

Head coach Lars Tiffany's 2010 squad earned a share of its second Ivy League Championship in the last three years, and gained a berth in the first ever Ivy League Playoffs to determine the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.  The Bears will travel to Ithaca, New York to face host Cornell on Friday, May 7, in a semifinal match-up at Schoellkopf Field, starting at 8:00 p.m.

An All-American a year ago, Muldoon is the ninth leading scorer in Brown lacrosse history with 151 career points (116 goals, 35 assists).  His overtime goal against Dartmouth on the final day of the season propelled the Bears into the Ivy Playoffs and gave Brown a share of the league title.  A Tewaarton Award candidate as the nation's top player, Muldoon is the Bears' second leading scorer with 37 points (27 goals, 10 assists), and scored a season high four goals against Duke.  He also excels in the classroom and is a finalist for the prestigious Lowe's Senior CLASS Award for notable achievements in four areas of excellence: Classroom, Character, Community, and Competition.
