Flash flood warning for Providence County extended until 11:15 p.m. Monday

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The National Weather Service extended its flash flood warning for Providence County on Monday.

The NWS said the warning, previously set to last until about 8 p.m., has been extended until 11:15 p.m., Monday night.

Several towns including Providence, Johnston, Cranston and Pawtucket all experience intense flash flooding after rainstorms throughout the day.
