Flowers left on RI State House’s steps to honor lives lost to COVID-19

Flowers were left on the steps of the Rhode Island State House Monday morning in honor of the lives lost due to COVID-19.

Along with the white bouquet, there is a note attached.

The note reads “In honor of all the souls who have been lost to COVID-19. We shall never forget them.”

As of Monday, 430 people in Rhode Island have died from COVID-19.
