Football game between Attleboro & New Bedford High School canceled due to COVID-19

A High School Football game between Attleboro and New Bedford is canceled due to COVID-19.

According to the Sun Chronicle, several players with New Bedford High School’s football team tested positive during in-school testing for COVID-19.

School officials say they’re canceling the game out of an abundance of caution.

Due to high school football guidelines, the game will go into the record books as a “no contest” neither team will be granted a forfeit win.
