For the 1st time ever, North Kingstown will host Pride parade

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — For the first time ever, the town of North Kingstown will host a Pride parade.
Harrison Tuttle, Black Lives Matter Rhode Island PAC president, said Tuesday the parade will take place on June 3. It will start at the Wickford Town Dock.
Tuttle said state Sens. Alana DiMario and Bridget Valverde and Jennifer Lima, co-president of Towards an Anti-Racist North Kingstown, are organizing the event.
This “historic” Pride parade’s goal is to celebrate and recognize the LGBTQ+ community in North Kingstown, said Tuttle.
