SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. – Rhode Island State Police say a forensic anthropologist will be examining the human remains found at a construction site in South Kingstown.

Authorities say on Wednesday, the State’s anthropologist started the investigation, and advised that a further investigation involving a forensic anthropologist should be performed.

The investigation will happen within the next couple of weeks.

The possible human remains were found on land near the Saint James Chapel last Monday.

The property was once owned by a prohibition bootlegger named Danny Walsh who disappeared back in the 1930’s.

The investigation is ongoing.
